Job summary

Thousand Oaks Plumbing, part of the CastleWorks family, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in California to ensure timely delivery of plumbing materials to field teams. You will manage inventory, stock, and order fulfillment while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year in warehouse or distribution.
• Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industry preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing parts and materials is a plus.
• Proficient with inventory tracking systems and basic computer programs (e.g., Excel).
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Valid California Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and equipment.
• Pick and stage materials for plumbing jobs based on work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Replenish stock and fulfill job requirements in coordination with purchasing and service teams.
• Organize shelves and label parts and supplies.
• Operate forklifts and move materials safely.
• Load/unload trucks and transfer between job sites.
• Safely operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts.
• Purchase generation & invoice matching.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Warehouse Specialist supports daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of plumbing materials and tools to our field teams. This role is responsible for inventory control, order fulfillment, stocking, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Specialist plays a critical role in helping our plumbing technicians operate efficiently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming plumbing materials and equipment.
• Pick and stage materials for plumbing jobs based on work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts.
• Communicate with purchasing and service teams to replenish stock and fulfill job requirements.
• Organize warehouse shelves and ensure proper labeling of parts and supplies.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance and uphold safety standards.
• Report damaged or missing items and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with loading/unloading of trucks and transfers between job sites.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle to pick up parts from vendors and deliver parts to job sites as needed.
• Purchase generation & invoice matching

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of one years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industry preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing parts and materials is a plus.
• Comfortable using inventory tracking systems and basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active warehouse role.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Must possess a valid California Driver's License pursuant to company policy
