Job summary

CastleWorks Water Heaters is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support daily warehouse operations in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will handle inventory control, order fulfillment, stocking, and ensure a clean, safe workspace to keep field teams supplied with materials.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a warehouse or distribution setting, familiarity with plumbing parts, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A forklift certification is preferred and a California driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in warehouse or distribution.
• Experience in plumbing/HVAC/construction preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing parts and materials a plus.
• Proficient with inventory tracking systems and basic computer programs (e.g., Excel).
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Valid California Driver's License per policy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming plumbing materials and equipment.
• Pick and stage materials for plumbing jobs based on work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Communicate with purchasing and service teams to replenish stock.
• Organize warehouse shelves and ensure proper labeling of parts and supplies.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance and uphold safety standards.
• Report damaged or missing items and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with loading/unloading of trucks and transfers between job sites.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle to pick up parts and deliver to job sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Warehouse Specialist supports daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of plumbing materials and tools to our field teams. This role is responsible for inventory control, order fulfillment, stocking, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Specialist plays a critical role in helping our plumbing technicians operate efficiently in the field.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of one years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industry preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing parts and materials is a plus.
• Comfortable using inventory tracking systems and basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active warehouse role.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Must possess a valid California Driver's License pursuant to company policy
