Exciting opportunity: We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Specialist in Indianapolis, IN to join our team!

Position Description

1. Responsible for shipping, handling, sorting, counting, and packaging of materials.
2. Operates industrial powered lift equipment.
3. Conducts or assists with physical inventory counts.
4. Maintains work area and follows procedures to ensure safety compliance.
5. Removes inbound freight from carriers.
6. Checks for shipping damage and uses bar code scanners to verify inbound shipments and customer orders.
7. Completes required paperwork and forwards to Inventory Control.
8. Assists staff in resolving discrepancies in receiving.
9. Prepares materials for shipment according to customer, trucker, or driver requirements, and balances and marks pallets.
10. Wraps orders on pallets for shipment and restocks warehouse per Inventory Manager's guidelines.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience preferred; experience operating a hi-lo is a plus, but training will be provided.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
3. High school diploma or GED.
4. Valid driver’s license required.
5. Stand-up reach forklift experience is a plus.
6. Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
