Job summary

Living Spaces in Fremont, CA is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support inventory accuracy, transfers, and outbound operations. You will verify items against driver manifests, assist with picking, and resolve discrepancies while collaborating with drivers and the DRT team.

Essential duties include handling calls on the 1799 line, ensuring OSHA safety standards, and maintaining a clean, productive warehouse. Requires 2–4 years of warehouse experience and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

  • Walk doors to validate inventory to match drivers manifest and validate transfer picking accuracy
  • Answer and troubleshoot calls on the 1799 phone-line
  • Assist stores, customer service, and DRT team with transfer questions and order closures
  • Research inventory discrepancies for dock and transfers; coordinate with Inventory Control for resolutions
  • Send picks to assigned pickers to replace missing/damaged items
  • Label, rewrap, and push items to end caps; communicate items not in location (NIL) to stores
  • Maintain OSHA safety standards and keep warehouse clean and debris-free
  • Operate radio frequency equipment and support outbound department workload
  • Unlock driver dock doors after validation and signing for accuracy
  • Push out damages/overloads to end caps and assist with scheduling and load-out issues

Position SummaryThe Warehouse Specialist is responsible for assisting the Supervisors with answering emails, researching overages/shortages, completing daily reports, adding data to daily reports, replacing or finding missing or damaged items, requesting parts, and validating accuracy of inventory / inventory discrepancies.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Walk doors to validate inventory to match drivers manifest, validate transfer picking accuracy, inbound support, service and Quality Support and ensure all items are free of defect or damageAnswer and troubleshoot calls coming through the 1799 phone-lineAssist stores, customer service, and DRT team with transfer related questions, locking and unlocking of orders/transfers, re-committing items on sales orders/transfersResearch inventory discrepancies for dock and transfersSend the picks to the assigned pickers to replace the missing or damaged itemsPerform research on inventory issues and coordinate with Inventory Control to devise a resolutionUnlock driver dock doors after driver has validated and signed off on accuracy of items at the doorPush out all damages, extras, reschedules or overloads to end capsLabel, rewrap of all items and push out to the end capsSend emails regarding missing items, damaged items or items not going out on driver’s route, or any issues / exception within the load out processCommunicate with stores regarding items not in location (NIL)Conducts dock checking, picking, putting up end caps or covering CPU, or any other duties that may be required to manage the workload of the Outbound DepartmentAble to operate radio frequency equipmentConducts operations in compliance with OSHA standardsConducts operations in a manner that promotes safetyMaintains a clean free from debris warehouse floorMeet company standards for productivityQualificationsEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 2-4 years general warehouse experience in a fast paced, warehouse environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.Certificates and Licenses: None RequiredPosition Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.Compensation: $24.45 - $30.50Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.
