Job summary

Living Spaces is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inbound and outbound operations. You will unload trailers, move furniture using dollies and pallet jacks, and verify that outbound items match invoices before delivery to customers.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, operating RF scanners, and maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment with weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Ability to operate RF scanners and follow warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing items.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Support the inbound and outbound operationUnload trailers by handMove furniture with dollies and pallet jacksEnsure outbound picked furniture matches invoice before loading into contractor’s vehicle for deliveryEnsure that outbound furniture does not have any damages or flawsPrepare customers’ orders monitors and ensures that outbound furniture is properly assembledUse proper lifting techniques: lift, push, stooping twisting, bendingUse RF Scanners to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.Must be able to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs.Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standardsMaintain a clean and organized workspaceMeet company standards for productivityAble to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysAble to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changesLS1BQualificationsEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years' experience in a fast paced warehouse environment. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.
