Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Site Manager in Kansas City, KS to lead daily warehouse operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. You will manage a warehouse crew, coordinate shifts, and ensure accurate data and payroll processes while upholding Capstone policies.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of management experience in distribution/transportation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to train and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.

Responsibilities

• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Daily communications with associates on service levels, accountability, pay, and performance.
• Create daily work logs and transmit to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Document and resolve customer service or associate issues daily.
• Enforce Capstone policies and safety rules; lead weekly safety meetings.
• Assist in managing Site and Departmental budgets; schedule shifts.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Oversee data entry, daily closeout, cash balancing, and payroll records.
