Handling inbound and outbound goods, materials, and equipment of the warehouse/yard. Tagging, labeling, and stocking supplies. Completing delegated activities efficiently. Loading and unloading trucks with forklifts and machinery. Maintaining cleanliness standards. Organizing supplies and equipment. Coordinating with coworkers and departments. Managing inventory counts and reporting discrepancies. Conducting equipment checks and maintenance.
Requirements include the ability to lift 50-75 pounds, bend or squat repeatedly, and possess a valid driver’s license. Good communication skills and knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office are needed. Mechanical inclination and organization are highly valued.
Physical activities involve crawling, squatting, reaching, crouching, kneeling, balancing, pushing/pulling, climbing up to 12 feet, standing about 5 hours, and walking about 2 hours per day. Loads up to 100 lbs may occasionally need to be carried or lifted. Repetitive foot movements and grasping are required. The role involves working around machinery, temperature/humidity changes, automotive driving, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
