Job summary

Muncie Power Products is seeking a Distribution team member in Tulsa, OK. You will handle shipping/receiving, verify shipments and warehouse receipts, and operate forklift and related equipment within a manufacturing environment.

Join a on-site distribution team focused on accurate packing, documentation, and proactive inventory control. Strong communication, legible handwriting, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Lean Enterprise principles training; 1 year shipping/receiving preferred.
• Previous shipping & receiving experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Previous hand scanner experience.
• Must have legible handwriting.
• Forklift license required.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare merchandise for shipment by labeling, packaging, preparing records of goods shipped, and posting weights.
• Verify shipments are correct.
• Verify material received from warehouse and assembly cells.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain stock in an orderly and safe manner.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Responsible for prioritizing outgoing shipments.
• Responsible for inventory control.
• Reject damaged goods and follow company procedures for returns.
