Muncie Power Products is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for our Yorktown, IN facility. The role focuses on checking in and preparing merchandise for stock and shipping, using a forklift, pallet jack, and weight scales while maintaining safety and accurate records.

Responsibilities include pulling materials for shipments, assisting in inventory control, and coordinating with freight companies. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years in lean distribution/assembly environment preferred.
• May be required to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Shipping/receiving experience in distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare merchandise for shipment and record-keeping for bills of lading and invoices.
• Pull materials from stock using forklift/pallet jack and route to proper departments.
• Assist in inventory control and maintain orderly storage, keeping area clean.
• Observe safety rules and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
