Job summary

US Multimodal Group is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage inbound/outbound shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and support efficient warehouse operations in California.

Responsibilities include verifying contents, inspecting shipments, labeling, packing, and coordinating with drivers. Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and strong teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory preferred.
• Ability to read shipping documents and POs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Unload, sort, label, and store incoming materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Create shipping labels and process shipments using shipping software.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, on-certified basis.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow all company policies, OSHA safety guidelines.
