Job summary

Wagner-Smith Equipment Co. in Texas is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, stock, and ship products, and to help keep the warehouse organized.

You will talk with customers and vendors about stock items, verify paperwork, and assist with light repairs, ground sets, and cables. Forklift experience preferred; benefits start day one, with 401k matching after one month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving incoming products and restocking shelves in assigned locations.
• Shipping out products by various carriers.
• Talking to customers/vendors/locations regarding stock items and orders.
• Ensuring paperwork accompanies all shipments (incoming and outgoing).
• Unloads trucks and helps place items in correct locations.
• Picks parts for shipments, packages, and distributes them in will-call areas.
• Ensures picking sheets are correct and accompany picked parts.
• Keeps shelves clean and the floor area orderly throughout the warehouse.
• Repairs, sands, paints and assembles tools from rental fleet and customer-owned items.
• Assembles Ground Sets and Cables.
• Keeps track of paperwork for outside repair and inventory accounting.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
