Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Warrenton, MO is seeking a Machine Operator 3 to support the Shipping & Receiving Department. You will safely receive, unload, store, stage glass products and materials to back production and customer deliveries, with overhead cranes and heavy equipment.

The role requires careful attention to detail, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to work with production, shipping, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, shipping and receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, shipping documents, receiving paperwork, and inventory records.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5½-ton overhead crane to unload incoming glass shipments and place into storage racks.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with PO and shipping docs.
• Store glass products in designated storage areas and maintain inventory control.
• Retrieve, stage, and prepare glass for production and customer shipments.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipment documentation.
• Safely handle glass products to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Inspect overhead cranes, lifting devices, and equipment before use.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and labeling.
• Coordinate with production, shipping, and quality teams to meet requirements.
• Identify and report damaged materials, discrepancies, and safety concerns.
• Assist with loading outbound shipments and ensure proper securing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per housekeeping standards.
• Support inventory counts, material audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in other production and warehouse areas as needed.
