Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Shipping Loader/Unloader - Days to prepare products for delivery across our facilities. You will assemble crates, label shipments, weigh and measure items, and pack to specification while maintaining safe, accurate packaging.

This role requires basic clerical tasks and the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment. We offer competitive benefits, PTO/holidays, potential for raises and bonuses, and training to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling boxes, crates, or containers.
• Ability to label and mark shipments and add padding to protect items.
• Capable of weighing, measuring and counting products.
• Pack items to meet shipping specifications and ensure proper packaging.
• Perform clerical tasks and operate shop floor computer and RF equipment.
• Conduct basic quality inspections to verify product meets specs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes, crates, or containers for shipping.
• Label and mark containers, insert padding to protect items.
• Weigh, measure, and count products for accuracy.
• Pack items per shipping needs and supervisor specs.
• Complete clerical tasks using shop floor computer and RF equipment.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
