Job summary

NRI 3PL in Henderson, NV is seeking a Shipping Lead to guide the Outbound team and ensure outbound shipments meet client and customer needs. This role requires frequent lifting (20–50 lbs) and pallet wrapping, with daily work around products from active lifestyle brands.

You will train shipping staff, manage tasks within SLA, and coordinate with the Shipping Supervisor on labor needs and carrier compliance. The position offers a 6:30 am–3:00 pm schedule and $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior shipping experience; Lead experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., walk/stand for extended periods, and work in a dusty/noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training and cross-training of shipping employees.
• Lead and delegate shipping tasks within SLA and vendor compliance.
• Plan labor requirements with Shipping Supervisor based on forecasts.
• Ensure outbound products are loaded and shipped according to carrier.
• Ensure carton labels are generated/applied correctly.
• Consolidate shipment requirements based on customer requests.
• Follow NRI safety rules and SOPs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Perform other duties as requested.

You’ll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

Monday - Friday: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Starting Pay

$20.00 per hour

All About You

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented
• Experience in leading shipping personnel to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently
• The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
• Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests)

The Must Haves

• Must have 2+ years of prior experience in shipping, experience as a Lead is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
• Must be able bilingual

Things You Will be Doing

• Oversee the training and cross-training of shipping employees
• Lead and delegate a variety of shipping tasks while working within SLA and vendor compliance requirements
• Collaborate with the Shipping Supervisor by planning labor requirements based on forecast and direction from the Client Services team
• Ensure outbound product are loaded and shipped according to assigned carrier
• Ensure custom retailer carton labels are generated and applied in the correct position
• Consolidate shipment requirements based off Customers' request
• FollowingNRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Keep work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
• Perform other duties as requested
