Job summary

NRI 3PL in Henderson, NV is seeking a Returns Lead to manage the Returns team, oversee warranty, quality control, repairs and returns duties for products from active lifestyle clients. You will lead receiving personnel and ensure all returns meet client requirements, while driving safety and process improvements.

The role requires strong communication, 12+ months warehouse experience with returns, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work hours are Monday–Friday evenings.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of prior warehouse experience with returns (quality control or warranty claims).
• Experience leading receiving personnel and ensuring duties are performed efficiently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook.
• Able to read/comprehend English and maintain good attendance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Process all returns to meet service goals and client requirements.
• Lead the returns team and coordinate with supervisor on staffing and performance.
• Provide training and cross-training to team members and promote safety.
• Identify process improvements to drive efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
• Communicate with clients/CSC as needed and handle discrepancies.

All About You

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented
• Experience in leading receiving personnel to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities

The Must Haves

• Must have 12+ months of prior warehouse experience with returns (quality control or warranty claims), experience as a Lead is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook
• Must be able to read/comprehend English
• Must be in good standing in your current position (i.e., good attendance, performance, no PIPs within the last 3 months)
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, comfortable with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.

Things You Will be Doing

• Returns
• Ensures all returns are processed within goals of service.
• Ensures all returns are processed according to Client requirements (removal of tags, polybagged, etc.)
• When required, source third parties for repair requirements that will not be done by NRI.
• Leadership
• In collaboration with the Supervisor, communicates expectations to team members and monitors the daily performance of their area and address any potential employee issues with the supervisor.
• Ensures there is training, cross-training and development of team members.
• Ensures safe operations of the business specific to their area of accountability, while being vocal about safety concerns in other areas.
• Focuses on process improvement that will drive efficiency, quality, safety and reduction of waste.
• Performs other duties as requested.
• Collaborates with inbound and outbound leadership on staffing modification if over or understaffed due to workload.
• Able to communicate directly with the client or CSC when required.
• Trouble shooting when faced with discrepancies, anomalies or transit caused issues.
