Job description

Spectrum is seeking an On-Site Supervisor to support the Department of Veteran Affairs in Denver, CO. This role involves working with a diverse team of professionals using proactive program management to ensure timely and high-quality task execution.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall work performed by Material Coordinators at the assigned warehouse, including but not limited to:

  • Training Material Coordinators
  • Assigning work based on priorities, difficulty, requirements, and employee capabilities
  • Ensuring compliance with Denver Logistics Services (DLS) standards and transaction accuracy
  • Maintaining records, documenting information, and utilizing reports for project status
  • Identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with government personnel on operating instructions and safety policies
  • Monitoring work, providing performance feedback, and conducting appraisals
  • Participating in interview panels and recommending candidate selection
  • Ensuring adherence to all government policies

Additional duties include:

  • Ensuring order drops are at least 90% accurate, tasks are performed timely and accurately, and performance standards are met
  • Reporting issues or concerns to the On-site Program Manager
  • Resolving issues, implementing new procedures, resolving conflicts, consulting with government personnel, and ensuring proper training and documentation for Material Coordinators
Requirements

Education: High School diploma; 1-2 years of additional training or education preferred

Experience: Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations

Intermediate to advanced knowledge in logistics, supply chain management, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and time management. Proficiency in inventory software, Microsoft Windows 10, Excel, Office 2010 or later, data entry, and typing skills. Knowledge of security measures, safety procedures, hazardous material handling, and risk assessments. Ability to guide and evaluate employee performance. Requires Tier 1 Background Investigation (BI).
