Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee a local team during Saturday to Tuesday night shifts in Mesquite, TX. You will work with the On-Site Manager to set schedules, recruit and coach staff, and uphold safety and HR policies.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, ensuring load safety, executing daily equipment checks, and maintaining a clean, compliant workplace. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisor or lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift schedules with On-Site Manager to service local customers.
• Recruit and develop employees and ensure safety and HR policies are followed.
• Load/unload materials, check loads, and ensure equipment safety checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and manage employee relations with the OSM.
• Perform basic data entry and assist forklift duties as needed.
• Support operational efficiency and pallet handling tasks.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$22.50/hr

Shift(s):

Shift: Saturday - Tuesday 6:00pm - 4:30am

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You'll Need

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
