Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead to maximize productivity during each shift while upholding the highest safety standards. You will work with the On-Site Manager to set schedules, supervise teammates, and ensure HR and safety policies are followed.

Hourly pay is $22.00/hr with shifts from Monday–Thursday and Thursday–Sunday in Irvington. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, a valid driver's license, and prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift schedules with the On-Site Manager to best serve customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure adherence to Safety and HR policies.
• Maintain supplies and arrange equipment maintenance.
• Assist forklift duties as needed.
• Monitor daily movements and complete proper forms.
• Support employee relations issues with the On-Site Manager.
• Load/unload materials and ensure loads are secure.
• Perform daily equipment checks on power equipment.
• Ensure quality conformance of products.
• Enter basic financial data.
• Complete assignments accurately and safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$22.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Thursday – Sunday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You'll Need

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
