Job summary

Relogistics is looking for a Shift Lead to drive daily operations at our Denton facility. You’ll work with the On-Site Manager to optimize shift schedules, supervise employees, and uphold safety and HR policies while ensuring productive, compliant performance on the shop floor.

You will manage material handling, equipment checks and quality inspections, support forklift operations, and help recruit and develop teammates, all while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and strict adherence

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift schedules with On-Site Manager to serve local customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure Safety and HR policies are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift duties as needed.
• Track movements on proper forms.
• Manage employee relations issues with On-Site Manager.
• Load/unload materials and ensure loads are secure.
• Perform daily equipment checks on industrial power equipment.
• Check products for quality conformance.
• Execute tasks accurately, timely and safely.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$21.00 - 23.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Wednesday 5:00am - 5:00pm & Thursday 5:00am - 11:00am

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths
• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
