Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Northlake, TX team. The role oversees day-to-day logistics, ensures safety and efficiency, and drives performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires 0–1 year supervisory experience and a background in warehousing or distribution. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• 1 year or more in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager.
• Establish work schedules and procedures for optimal shift logistics.
• Responsible for site KPI.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Hold regular team and individual progress discussions with coaching.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and improve internal processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recognize achievements.
• Address performance issues through corrective actions.
• Implement health & safety initiatives and company policies.
• Orient and train employees and Lead Hands.
