Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required.
• 0 to 1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• 1 year or more in experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review all logistics processes in collaboration with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer service specs.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers for optimal shift logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI.
• Work with the customer in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress, coach and recognize successes.
• Promote Diversity and Inclusion and improve internal processes.
• Carry out performance evaluations and recommend merit increases when appropriate.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process.
• Implement health & safety and security initiatives and ensure adherence to policies.
• Provide orientation for employees and Lead Hands and furnish necessary information and tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
