Job summary

ABL Wholesale Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead for afternoons in Ohio. The role focuses on guiding a team, training, and ensuring policy compliance while overseeing receiving, stocking, picking, loading and shipping with ProCat Logistics systems.

Requirements include leadership experience, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday from 1pm to 9:30pm, full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in a leadership role.
• 3+ years' experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems and devices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Able to work across several shifts and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support, guidance and assistance to the team.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, and procedures.
• Participate in the training of new team members.
• Responsible for driver route check in and out procedures.
• Daily sign out and in of IT equipment and communication of issues.
• Conduct and document driver vehicle maintenance checks daily.
• Monitor and document the return of merchandise for inventory accuracy.
• Communicate with team and shift supervisor effectively.
• Oversee warehouse receiving, stocking, picking, loading and shipping using ProCat Logistics systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Shift Lead - Afternoons | $20/hr | Full-Time

Location: ABL Wholesale Distributors - Ohio

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 1pm - 930pm*

Pay: $20.00 per hour

For over 50 years ABL Wholesale Distributors has been the premiere single-source distributor serving retailers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. We are currently searching for a Warehouse Shift Lead to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing guidance and training to team members as a main point of contact. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Shift Supervisor.

Job Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To

• Provide leadership, support, guidance and assistance to the team.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, and procedures.
• Participate in the training of new team members.
• Responsible for driver route check in and out procedures.
• Daily sign out and in of IT equipment (scanners, printers, hand held devices) and communication of issues.
• Conduct and document driver vehicle maintenance checks daily to ensure the safety and upkeep of company fleet.
• Monitor and document the return of merchandise for accurate and maintained inventory levels.
• Accurate, timely and relevant communication to the team and shift supervisor.
• Oversee and drive accuracy of warehouse receiving, stocking, picking, loading and shipping utilizing ProCat Logistics reporting systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills And Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems and devices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to carry up to 40 pounds.
• Able to work in Freezer/Cooler environments.
