ABL Wholesale Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead for the Days shift in Ohio. The role reports to the Warehouse Shift Supervisor and requires leading the team, training new staff, and managing warehouse operations on a Sunday-Thursday schedule (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM).

The position offers $20.00 per hour and full-time status. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years in a leadership role, and 3 years in a warehouse environment with knowledge of warehouse

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems and devices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work across several shifts and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, guidance and assistance to the team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in training of new team members.
• Oversee driver route check-in and check-out procedures.
• Sign in/out IT equipment and report issues.
• Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks for fleet safety.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate merchandise returns.
• Communicate effectively with team and shift supervisor.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, loading and shipping using ProCat Logistics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Shift Lead - Days | $20/hr | Full-Time

Location: ABL Wholesale Distributors - Ohio
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 6a - 230p*
Pay: $20.00 per hour

For over 50 years ABL Wholesale Distributors has been the premiere single-source distributor serving retailers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. We are currently searching for a Warehouse Shift Lead to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing guidance and training to team members as a main point of contact. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Shift Supervisor.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

• Provide leadership, support, guidance and assistance to the team.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, and procedures.
• Participate in the training of new team members.
• Responsible for driver route check in and out procedures.
• Daily sign out and in of IT equipment (scanners, printers, hand held devices) and communication of issues.
• Conduct and document driver vehicle maintenance checks daily to ensure the safety and upkeep of company fleet.
• Monitor and document the return of merchandise for accurate and maintained inventory levels.
• Accurate, timely and relevant communication to the team and shift supervisor.
• Oversee and drive accuracy of warehouse receiving, stocking, picking, loading and shipping utilizing ProCat Logistics reporting systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems and devices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Able to work across several shifts and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to carry up to 40 pounds.
• Able to work in Freezer/Cooler environments.
