Job summary

ABL Wholesale Distributors in Ohio is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead for day shifts, Sundays to Thursdays, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, at a pay rate of $20 per hour. The role involves guiding a team, overseeing receiving, stocking, picking, loading and shipping, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of leadership experience and 3+ years in a warehouse setting, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and a valid driver’s license for fleet-related duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the team.

• Oversee driver route check in/out procedures.
• Sign in/out IT equipment daily and report issues.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks for fleet safety.
• Monitor and document inventory and merchandise returns.
• Communicate clearly with team and shift supervisor.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, loading, and shipping using ProCat Logistics systems.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Shift Lead - Days | $20/hr | Full-Time

Location: ABL Wholesale Distributors - Ohio

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 6a - 230p*

Pay: $20.00 per hour

For over 50 years ABL Wholesale Distributors has been the premiere single-source distributor serving retailers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. We are currently searching for a Warehouse Shift Lead to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing guidance and training to team members as a main point of contact. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Shift Supervisor.

Job Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To

• Provide leadership, support, guidance and assistance to the team.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, and procedures.
• Participate in the training of new team members.
• Responsible for driver route check in and out procedures.
• Daily sign out and in of IT equipment (scanners, printers, hand held devices) and communication of issues.
• Conduct and document driver vehicle maintenance checks daily to ensure the safety and upkeep of company fleet.
• Monitor and document the return of merchandise for accurate and maintained inventory levels.
• Accurate, timely and relevant communication to the team and shift supervisor.
• Oversee and drive accuracy of warehouse receiving, stocking, picking, loading and shipping utilizing ProCat Logistics reporting systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to carry up to 40 pounds.
