Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Macon, GA is hiring a Warehouse Selector to move goods between the dock and the warehouse and to load trucks. You’ll work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas and use reach trucks, pallet jacks and wrap orders.

The role starts at 7 AM and offers a comprehensive benefits package after 60 days plus vacation and holidays. You’ll be part of a team with opportunities for advancement within a safety-conscious, fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient for job tasks and safety procedures.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more.
• At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Keep work area clean and perform other duties as assigned.
