Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector to join our team. You will pick and load products, move items around the warehouse and operate a reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift as needed.

The role includes a training wage of $20.55 per hour and a production wage of $24.85 per hour with potential incentives. Benefits begin after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, and more, plus paid time off after qualification.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds or more.
• 1 year of distribution warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks; move items between dock and warehouse.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to pick, pull, sort and stack product.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, availability and condition of product.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
