Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Plymouth, MI is hiring a Warehouse Selector to pick, load, and move product within our DC. You’ll operate reach trucks and pallet jacks, verify quantities, and help keep shipments accurate and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write and understand English well enough to perform tasks safely and accurately.
• At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience; operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving items between the loading dock and warehouse.
• Work across Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas and others.
• Wear and use provided freezer suits, hats, and gloves.
• Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, and condition of product.
• Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Hand-stack when items are off balance or mislocated; shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders.
• Clean work area and perform other duties as assigned.
