Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution in Pineville, NC is hiring a Warehouse Selector to join our on-site team in a temperature-controlled facility. You will move, pick, and prepare orders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role requires forklift certification, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with multi-temperature settings. We offer weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, and a path to grow with a nationwide distribution network.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift).
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
• Accurately pick, lift, and place products to build pallets per customer orders.
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely in high-traffic warehouse areas.
• Visually inspect and verify all incoming/outgoing product.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and cleanliness standards at all times. Read labels, count product, and complete order paperwork.
• Support team with cleaning and additional duties as needed.
