Job summary

Performance Food Group in Fontana, CA is seeking a warehouse associate to select cases and other items from multi-level racks, prepare orders for shipment, and operate a pallet jack or forklift as needed.

You must meet safety standards, be able to lift up to 90 pounds, work in cooler/freezer/dry environments, pass drug and background checks, and maintain productivity and accuracy per schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10‑35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and other containers of food and non-foods products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems.
• Move completed orders to the shipping dock staging area using pallet jacks or forklifts, wrap and label for shipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; ensure work area is safe and report unsafe conditions.
