Job summary

US Foods in Wisconsin is seeking Warehouse Team Members to safely pick customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and ensure accurate, damage-free deliveries. Shifts start at 5:30PM, Sunday–Thursday, with 8–12 hour shifts.

The base pay starts at $31.70 per hour, with overtime opportunities and a compensation range of $31.70–$33.70 depending on experience and location. We offer health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, PTO, disability coverage, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings and safety coaching.
• Able to lift 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment, -5 to 100+ degrees.
• Experience with high endurance or physically demanding work.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that the correct product has been selected and is damage-free.
• Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, remove empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $31.70 and $33.70. This role will also receive overtime compensation.

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy

• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet

• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment

• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free

• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders

• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed

• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required

• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.

• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred

• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred
