Job summary

US Foods is seeking Warehouse Team Members to safely and accurately select customer orders at a Seabrook, NH location. You will build and wrap pallets, perform pre-shift checks, and move products to the dock using order selecting software and equipment.

Excellent physical stamina is required, with a preferred background in high-endurance activities. Weekend and holiday work may be needed, with shifts starting in the evening during training and transitioning to post-training schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, and read safety labels.
• Must be able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sun–Thu.
• Weekend/holidays may be required.
• Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity is preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free.
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area.

Compensation and Schedule

• Starting pay rate is $26.25 per hour, increasing to $29.54 per hour after 3 months.
• $5,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires!
• Schedule: 4‑5 day flexible schedule (Sunday‑Friday)
• Shift: 7:00PM start time during the first 90 days of training
• Post‑Training Shift: 5:00PM start time after training

Selector Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre‑shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet.
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free.
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi‑temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required.

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job‑related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday–Thursday.
• At times weekends and holidays will required.
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.
