Job summary

US Foods is hiring Night Warehouse Selectors in Florida to safely and efficiently pick customer orders, build pallets, and operate a motorized pallet jack.

You’ll perform pre-shift equipment checks, verify correct items, and wrap pallets for shipment, following our order-selecting software. This role requires reading and speaking English, the ability to work 8+ hour night shifts Sunday through Thursday, and physical endurance for heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings and complete reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday through Thursday.
• Experience in physically demanding roles preferred (e.g., warehouse).
• Experience selecting large-scale orders or operating a pallet jack preferred.

Responsibilities

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets as directed by order-selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage-free.
• Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to the charging area.

Schedule

• Work Days: Sunday-Thursday from 4:30 pm until completion (8-10 hr shifts)

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5°F to over 100°F.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively, moving 1,000+ cases per shift.

What You Bring To The Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, receive safety instruction, and complete reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday through Thursday (weekends and holidays as needed).
• Recent experience in a physically demanding or endurance-based role preferred (e.g., sports, construction, warehouse).
• Experience selecting large-scale orders or operating a motorized pallet jack preferred.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.

The training base rate for this role is $23.00 per hour, and after training, associates will be paid incentive-based component pay determined by productivity metrics such as cases scanned per hour.
