Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a dedicated security professional for our Gastonia area distribution operations. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, control access, and monitor weapons detection systems to protect staff and assets.

Responsibilities include surveillance, incident response, reporting, and enforcing safety and security policies. Regular inspections of key facilities and collaboration with law enforcement when needed are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Experience with warehouse operations and inventory movement desirable.
• Interest in auditing, attention to detail, and adherence to policy.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling interior and exterior areas to check security breaches.
• Control access, verify credentials, and manage sign-ins.
• Operate Evolv weapons detection system and respond to findings.
• Monitor CCTV and alarms, report incidents, and escalate as needed.
• Serve as first responder to emergencies and liaise with authorities.
• Document daily observations and incidents in standard reports.
• Enforce company policies and remove trespassers when necessary.
• Perform life and safety inspections of key areas and equipment.
