Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a security professional to patrol and protect our distribution center in Indiana. You will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and respond to incidents to maintain safety and asset control.

Responsibilities include operating the Evolv weapons detector, monitoring alarms and CCTV, and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed. A detail-oriented individual with experience in security and warehouse environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Proficient in WMS and inventory movement in a DC.
• Proficient in writing and MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong partnership and teamwork with interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and auditing mindset.
• Prior security, safety and/or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling interior and exterior to check doors, windows, gates for security breaches.
• Monitor site entrances, verify credentials, manage sign-ins.
• Operate Evolv weapons detection system and respond to detected threats.
• Monitor alarms and CCTV, report unauthorized activity.
• Serve as first responder to emergencies and contact authorities.
• Maintain accurate daily security reports.
• Enforce company safety policies and remove trespassers if needed.
• Perform life safety inspections daily or hourly.
• Perform asset inspections for outbound items and detect theft risks.
