Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Hygiene/Processing Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in meat, seafood and poultry processing areas. Responsibilities include prepping rooms, washing equipment, and following MSDS procedures.

The role operates on an early morning shift (3:00 am to 11:30 am), Monday through Friday with occasional overtime opportunities. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prep Processing room for washing.
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures.
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms.
• Use high- and low-pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F.
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures.
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification.
