Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse, a leader in high-quality food service distribution, is seeking a sanitation-focused processing worker in Jessup, MD. The role requires you to clean and sanitize meat, seafood, and poultry processing areas and maintain a hygienic workspace.

You will prep rooms, power down machinery, break down equipment for cleaning, and follow MSDS procedures while handling detergents and sanitizers. High school diploma and 1–3 months of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months of experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas and maintain cleanliness of workspace by performing the following duties.
• Prep Processing room for washing.
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures.
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms.
• Use high- and low-pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F.
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures.
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification.

Work Hours: 3:00 am - 11:30 am, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime opportunities.
