Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a dependable warehouse worker to clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas. You will maintain cleanliness of the workspaces and assist with routine duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing processing rooms, powering down machines, breaking down equipment for cleaning, handling waste, and following safety and MSDS procedures. Prior experience is not required but helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of experience

Responsibilities

• Prep Processing room for washing
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms
• Use high- and low-pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification
