Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean and safe work environment in our warehouse facilities. Responsibilities include janitorial tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas and may extend to office spaces.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months sanitation/janitorial experience, and the ability to pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Comes with other related duties as assigned.
