Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to uphold health and safety standards across our warehouse facilities. The position involves general janitorial tasks in dry, cooler, and freezer areas, with occasional duties in office spaces.

Timely cleaning, safe chemical handling, and adherence to training are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months in sanitation or janitorial work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Completes all Pure Safety training modules in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operates pallet jack to transport refuse/trash as needed.
• Completes assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
• May work with cleaning chemicals as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
