Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean, safe work environment and support daily warehouse operations. This role supports health and safety policies while performing janitorial tasks in dry, cooler, and freezer areas.

Responsibilities include completing work according to health and safety guidelines, reporting unsafe conditions, cleaning duties, handling chemicals per hazmat sheets, and may operate pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
