Job summary

Humano is hiring a Warehouse Sanitation/Janitorial Associate to clean and sanitize the warehouse, equipment, and work areas in a safe, compliant manner. You will work under the supervisor/manager to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced facility.

Shift is 1st shift, 5:00am-3:30pm with two schedules: Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu. Pay is $17.00 per hour, with DailyPay access to earnings.

Qualifications

• Sanitation, janitorial, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience accepted.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays and overtime.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, docks, restrooms, break rooms, and work areas.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces with approved chemicals and tools.
• Safely handle, mix, and store cleaning chemicals per SDS and labels.
• Remove trash and debris; keep aisles clear.
• Operate floor scrubbers, pressure washers, hoses, brooms, and mops.
• Complete sanitation checklists and report hazards or damaged equipment.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Duties may change at management's discretion.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Supervisor or Site Manager, the Sanitation Associate is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the warehouse, equipment, and work areas in a safe and efficient manner, at the direction of the Supervisor and/or Operations Management. The position helps maintain a clean, safe, and compliant facility by following sanitation procedures and safety guidelines.

Shift-1st shift, 5:00am-3:30pm. Two schedules available: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday

Pay- $17.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, docks, restrooms, break rooms, and work areas according to the sanitation schedule and SOP
• Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces using approved chemicals and tools
• Safely handle, mix, and store cleaning chemicals according to labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Remove trash, cardboard, and debris, and keep aisles and walkways clear
• Use cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, hoses, brooms, and mops
• Complete sanitation checklists and documentation, and report hazards, spills, or damaged equipment to the Supervisor
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures
• (Duties and responsibilities may be changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous sanitation, janitorial, or warehouse experience preferred
• Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work
• The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment - continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays AND work overtime, without advanced notice
• Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions
