Job summary

Performance Foodservice, part of Performance Food Group, is seeking a sanitation/warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe work environment across warehouse areas, including dry, cooler and freezer zones. The role supports the health and safety of all associates and contributes to operational efficiency.

The position requires basic warehouse sanitation experience, the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely, and adherence to post-offer drug testing and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Preferred: 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment. Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in warehouse areas, including dry, cooler and freezer zones.
• Maintains safety by following health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions or acts to ensure associate safety.
• Operates pallet jack for transporting refuse/trash where required.
• Completes assigned sanitation tasks and training modules.
