Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a sanitation/warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe workplace across dry, cooler, and freezer areas. You will perform general janitorial tasks, follow health and safety policies, and support hazmat guidelines.

The role may involve operating a pallet jack and completing required safety trainings. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months sanitation/janitorial experience, and passing post-offer drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
