Job summary

Feeser’s, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation Associate for the 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM Sunday through Thursday shift at our Harrisburg, PA facility. The role requires maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all facility areas, following GMP and food safety plans, and supporting various housekeeping tasks.

The position involves operating a rider pallet jack, forklift, floor scrubber, and a mobile work platform, with emphasis on safety and compliance in a food distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Hazardous material knowledge and training.
• Knowledgeable in the use of a baler.
• 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles with ability to apply theory of the operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and restock supplies as needed in all areas (bathrooms, lunchrooms, coffee areas).
• Sweep aisles, dock areas and keep warehouse areas free from debris and up to food-grade standards.
• Empty recycle bins and trash in offices and warehouse areas.
• Bale shrink wrap and cardboard per training and procedures.
• Clean up spills, debris, trash and other waste in all areas per GMP and sanitation plan.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM Sunday - Thursday
Pay: $15.00 per hour

SUMMARY
Maintainand keepcleanall areas around the facility tocomply withthe guidelines and standards set forth by the government and other agencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Restock suppliesas needed inallthe following areas:

• Bathrooms once daily (office, warehouse, garage, body shop, and offsite location)

• Lunchroom (office, warehouse, and garage)

• Coffee areas (office and warehouse)

• Sweep aisles / dock areas and keep all warehouse areas free from debrisand up to food grade standards.

• Emptyrecyclebins in office areas.

• Empty and clean garbage cans (warehouse, parking lot, garage, and body shop).

• Bale shrink wrap and cardboardin accordance withtraining and established procedures.

• Clean up spills, debris,trashand any other debris as neededin all areas of the premises inside and outside,in accordance withGMP’s and company food safety plan including properlymaintainingfoodallergen controls.

• Floor scrub aisles and dock areas.

• Clean and wipe down walls and ledges.

• Sweep parking lot in front of docks andcommonarea.

• Clean bathrooms,breakrooms,and coffee areas minimum ofonce daily (office, warehouse, and garage).

• Assistwith snow removal andmaintainingsafe walking and parking surfaces to and from the buildings.

• All duties asrequiredtomaintaincompany safety and sanitation requirements as outlined in the facility food safety plan andin accordance withdocumented daily, weekly,monthly,and quarterly sanitation tasks.

• Other duties as assigned by company management.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ability to safelyoperatea rider pallet jack and sit-down forklift.

• Ability to safelyoperatea sit-down and walk behindfloorscrubber, including proper cleaning and care of the scrubbers.

• Ability to safelyoperatea mobile work platform (i.e.,scissor lift).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moving self indifferent positionstoaccomplishtasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 100 pounds.

• Remainingin a stationary position, oftenstandingor sitting for prolonged periods.

• Moving aboutto accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

• Mustpossessvisual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depthperceptionand the ability to adjust.

• Repeating motions that may include the wrists,handsand/or fingers.

• Operating machinery and/or power tools / Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.

• Noisyenvironments/Hazardousconditions

• Mustpossessvisual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depthperceptionand the ability to adjust.

• Ability to work in temperature varied environments for extended periods of time, ranging from -10 degrees F to 90 degrees F, and handle the demands of the departments.
