Job summary

Feeser's Food Distributors in Harrisburg, PA, seeks a Warehouse Operations Clerk to support shipping, receiving, and routing documents, ensuring accuracy and timely operations. This role collaborates with warehouse supervisors, drivers, selectors, and customers to keep outbound deliveries on schedule.

Ideal candidates have warehouse or logistics experience, familiarity with WMS/AS400, strong computer skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics, transportation, or administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS, AS400, or similar software preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Basic typing and 10-key skills.
• Experience with shipping software such as UPS and FedEx is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify shipping and receiving documents for accuracy
• Maintain records related to shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
• Verify shipping orders and quantities against picking documentation
• Research and resolve shipment discrepancies
• Collect and route inbound freight documentation to the appropriate departments
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
• Issue, track, clean, and maintain voice-picking equipment and accessories
• Charge and rotate batteries for warehouse equipment
• Assist with outbound order assignments and route management
• Monitor workflow within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Assign shorts, seafood, chemical products, and inter-company transfers as needed
• Complete route invoicing and documentation
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Warehouse Operations Clerk

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - Finish
Pay: $19.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Clerk supports warehouse operations by ensuring shipping, receiving, and routing documents are completed accurately and on time. This role works closely with warehouse supervisors, drivers, selectors, and customers to maintain efficient daily operations and support outbound deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify shipping and receiving documents for accuracy

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 100 lbs.

• Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures

• Comfortable working in conditions ranging from -10°F to 90°F

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements

• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment and machinery
