Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a sanitation/warehouse associate in West Mifflin, PA. The role focuses on maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, with general janitorial tasks and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

Shifts run Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with pay at $15.50 per hour. This position supports the sanitation team and contributes to a safe, efficient distribution operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• The Sanitation/Warehouse ensures health and safety by maintaining a clean, safe workplace in dry, cooler, and freezer areas; may work in offices as assigned.
• Complete cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and use of cleaning chemicals as directed.
• Operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles when required.
• Complete Pure Safety training modules timely and accurately.
• Report unsafe conditions or acts promptly to protect all associates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace. General cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick up, and use of compactor. May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.

Primary Responsibilities

The Sanitation. The warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation-related job tasks in the warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
