Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a versatile Warehouse/Route Driver/Service Floater in the San Diego area to support warehouse operations, route deliveries, and on-site service tasks. This full-time role requires a proactive team player who can switch between roles as needed.

You will collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, technicians, and customer service to ensure accurate orders, timely deliveries, and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License for at least 2 years.
• Past driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse duties including receiving, inspecting, and stocking inventory.
• Route driving duties: deliver and pick up products following schedules.
• Service technician duties: basic equipment setup/repair during on-site visits.
• General support: coordinate with warehouse, drivers, techs and customer service.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. No nights, no weekends.

What you'll be doing – The Role:

Warehouse Duties:

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with inventory management.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.

Route Driver Duties:

• Serves as backup to our Route Drivers
• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up products or equipment.
• Follow delivery schedules and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload goods, verifying the accuracy of delivery contents.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues as needed.

Service Technician Duties:

• Perform basic service tasks, such as assembling, installing, or repairing equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with products or machinery.
• Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits.
• Report any major service issues to the appropriate department for follow-up.

General Support:

• Fill in across roles to support seamless operations, including assisting other team members.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, service techs, drivers and customer service teams to coordinate tasks.
• Assist in special projects, such as equipment setup or warehouse reorganizations.

Requirements

What you'll bring – The Person:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License for at least 2 years
• Past driving experience preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Usual and customary methods of performing job functions require significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
• Repeatedly lift and carry coffee and bottled water products weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Drive 30 to 100 miles per day.
• Climb in and out of delivery vehicle multiple times per day.
• Load and unload 30-to-35-pound hand cart from delivery vehicle at approximately 16-20 customer sites per day.
• Use hand cart to move products and equipment from delivery vehicle into customer facility.
• Job generally requires 20 percent sitting and/or driving, 60 percent walking, and 20 percent standing daily.
• Able to work outdoors in various types of weather.

TRAVEL
