Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading equipment distributor in Wendell to find a Warehouse Repair Technician for a 1st shift, contract-to-hire role. You will organize repair processes, use a forklift, and perform hands-on repairs with hand and power tools.

Required 1–3 years of repair experience in automotive or equipment settings, with forklift certification pursued within 90 days. Clean safety record and strong teamwork are essential in this non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on automotive, agricultural equipment, or similar repair experience.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred; must be willing and able to obtain forklift certification within the first 90 days.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and properly store products that require repair or additional evaluation
• Identify and label non-conforming materials before they are moved into the repair process
• Use a forklift to safely move repaired units back to their designated warehouse locations
• Assist with evaluating damaged equipment and determining appropriate repair options under the direction of the Inventory Supervisor
• Order replacement parts and follow up on outstanding or backordered items
• Perform hands-on repairs and rework using hand and power tools, including body panel and gasket replacement and minor paint and body work
• Repackage repaired products to prepare them for retail shipment
• Assist with documenting damaged items and coordinating the disposal of products approved for scrap
• Process electronic inventory transfers and ensure transactions are recorded accurately
• Maintain spreadsheets, tracking logs, and other documentation used by management
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain an organized work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of hands-on automotive, agricultural equipment, or similar repair experience
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience strongly preferred; must be willing and able to obtain forklift certification within the first 90 days
• Comfortable using hand and power tools for basic mechanical and equipment repairs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with CRM systems or Microsoft Dynamics SL is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
