Job summary

Midway Staffing is seeking a reliable Record Center Specialist to join our Birmingham warehouse team. You will perform order processing, scanning, and box movement in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on accuracy and safety. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Pay rate: $17.00/hour.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs, climb stairs, and work well in a team. Basic computer skills and attention to detail are essential; safety shoes required. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and climb stairs as needed.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, physical, service, or team-focused environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have safety steel toe shoes.

Responsibilities

• Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop and bend for extended periods of time.
• Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes including on inclines, stairs, and varied surfaces.
• Read labels and process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and locate boxes.
• Operate hand-held scanner.
• Load and wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Record Center Specialist

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Record Center Specialist to join our warehouse team in Birmingham, ALThis role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment and are comfortable with physical work throughout the day.

Location: Birmingham, AL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay rate: $17.00/hour

Duties:

• Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop and bend for extended periods of time
• Work without assistance in order to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation
• Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes
• Operate hand held scanner
• Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods
• Employee must be able to load, operate and move hand carts, pallet jacks and various other material handling aids
• Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level, or on carts
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids
