Spherion is hiring a dependable Record Storage Warehouse Specialist for our client in Port Allen, LA. This role centers around retrieving, arranging, and processing inventory inside the record center, with frequent lifting and use of handheld scanners. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Candidates must pass background and drug screening and have a high school diploma. Steel-toed shoes required; 1–4 years experience preferred; dependable transportation

• Execute physical tasks including bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, and standing for long periods.

Spherion is hiring a dependable Record Storage Warehouse Specialist for our client in Port Allen, LA. We are seeking reliable, accountable candidates who follow through on their commitments, show up on time, and take pride in their work.

This is a heavy-lifting role centered around retrieving, arranging, and processing inventory inside the record center. You will continuously lift, carry, and stack storage boxes while using handheld scanners and inventory software to process incoming and outgoing orders.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Continuously lift, retrieve, and carry storage boxes weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the entire shift.
• Safely climb step ladders to pull or store boxes from elevated shelving.
• Load, shrink-wrap, and stack pallets using hand carts, pallet jacks, and material handling aids.
• Execute physical tasks including frequent bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, and standing for long periods.

Skills

• Dependability: Highly reliable work ethic with a proven track record of following through on commitments.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
